Mo'Nique performs for ECSU

Elizabeth City State University welcomes comedienne/ actress Mo'Nique to Winter Homecoming at 6 p.m. on February 2 in the R.L. Vaughan Center. Mo'Nique starred in UPN's family comedy, "The Parkers." Other comedy credits for Mo'Nique include HBO's "Def Comedy Jam;" "Showtime at the Apollo;" and "BET's Comic View." In addition to her performance, ECSU will host an Old School Step Show featuring step teams from Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, and Zeta Phi Beta sororities as well as Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, and Phi Beta Sigma fraternities. Advance tickets, $20, are on sale at the ECSU Cashier's Window of the Marion D. Thorpe Administration Building and in the Ridley Student Center. On February 2, general public tickets will be sold for $25 while tickets for the main floor will be sold for $30. This Old School Step and Comedy Show is organized by the ECSU Office of Student Life.
