Digita Archives Bring Old Memoriest o the Fore front

Whether you are trying to review photos of your classmates or testing your memory of a special event held during your college years, the new digital archives of the university yearbook is a good source to check.

The North Carolina Digital Heritage Center, locatedin Wilson Library at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, launched ECSU's digital archives website for public review:

Visitors may browse all of ECSU's yearbooks and over 110 historical images on one website. In addition, in September the center will digitize all issues of the Elizabeth City State's student news papers, dating back to 1927, and make them available on the same website when the project is complete.

Digital NC and the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center are supported by Library Services and Technology Act funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services ,administered by the State Library of North Carolina ,adivision of the Department of Cultural Resources.
